Glenn Albert Lange, 67
Services were held for Glenn Albert Lange, 67, Thursday, Dec. 20, at the United Methodist Church, Klemme, with Rev. Don Griffin conducting the services. The organist was Mrs. Robert Schultz who accompanied Beverly Thorson and Thelma Arnold as they sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art". Burial was in the Klemme Cemetery. Casket bearers were Doyce Pringnitz, Danny Mau, Rick Ott, Steve Pringnitz, Raymond Eliason and Lorne Lang. The Quesenberry Funeral Home, Klemme, was in charge of the arrangements.
Glenn Albert Lange was born March 10, 1912, the son of Albert and Maggie Lange. He died Dec. 17, at the age of 67.
Lange attended the local rural schools in Liberty township and completed high school in Klemme. He received a degree in D.H.I. testing from Iowa State University, Ames. On June 4, 1941, Glenn was united in marriage to Lois Pringnitz. The couple farmed until retiring two years ago. Glenn was involved in many community events and was a member of the Liberty Methodist Church and later the Klemme United Methodist Church.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Margaret (Mrs. Clifford) Eliason.
Mr. Lange is survived by his wife, Lois, three sons, Larry of Garner, Gerald of Dubuque and David of Goodell, one daughter, Janet (Mrs. Robert) Abele of Garner, eight grandchildren and one brother, Ray Lange of Garniville.
