Wednesday, November 19, 1941OBITUARY OF BERT ISAAC FRISBIE
Corwith, Nov. 15:--Bert Isaac Frisbie was born near Eldora, Iowa, Oct. 14, 1874, and passed away at his home in Corwith, Nov. 12, 1941, at the age of 67 years and 29 days. He moved near Renwick at the age of 19. He was united in marriage to Miss Maggie Larson. They moved to Lone Rock and later to Halfa. One son was born to this union. The son and Mrs. Frisbie preceded him in death. He was united with the Baptist church of Renwick 1893. While at Lone Rock he joined the Methodist Church on Aug. 6, 1907.He was united in marriage to Mrs. Myrtle Green, who with 5 children are left to mourn his death, Morris, Ferd, Orris and Bertha, of Corwith, Harry, of Kellogg; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Earl Foster of Grinnell, and Mrs. Rollie Morgart of Marshalltown. Six grand children and eight step grand children, 3 sisters and 3 brothers, Mrs. Matilda Rassmussen of Renwick, Mrs. Nellie Loy, of Mason City; Mrs. Bertha Cox, of Burt; Harlan, of Fairmont, Minn.; George, of Ringsted, Ben of Britt.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Baptist Church in charge of the pastor, the Rev. Von B. Elbert. The Rev. Paul Williams of Humboldt, the former pastor of the Corwith Church, delivered the sermon.
The body was taken to Armstrong for burial.
