(Nels) Albert Nelson, son of Nels B. and Hannah Nelson, passesd away Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 13, 1977 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Ia., where he had been a patient for the past 3 weeks. He was born January 18, 1891 in Britt, Iowa and was 86 years, 7 months and 25 days of age at the time of his death.

He was baptized in the Evangelical Church and received his education in the rural Hancock County schools near Britt. He worked for the Power Company in Britt for many years and had also worked in Minneapolis, Minn. and Ft. Dodge, Ia. He retired and for the last 10 years he had made his home at the Good Shepherd Home in Mason City, Ia.

Mr. Nelson is survived by 2 brothers, Arthur Nelson of Alexandria, Minn. and Marvin Nelson of Britt, Ia., several nieces and nephewes and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 sisters.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt, Iowa
