In Response To: Cass Center Cemetery (Pat Fiscel)

I was curious about your query, as I have numerous relatives buried at Cass Center/ for example my GG-Grandmother Mary Ellen THOMPSON Black. I looked up the Topozone Map site & Cass Creek was the name that came up for the Cass Center Cemetery that we are all familiar with. Strange that it would be Cass Creek when it is located by the White Fox Creek (named by my GGG-Grandfather Peter Lyon) and Buck Creek. Looks like it might just be another name for it, as it is in the Woolstock quad just north of Webster City, IA. The Kendall Young Library in Webster City has the directory for Cass Center burials. What a great Library for genealogy research! If there is another cemetery by that name could you let me know, as I have my GGG-Grandparents Benjamin Stone Segar & Marilda Richards Segar who I cannot locate. They are not buried at Cass with the rest of the Segar Family. Their farm was across the road from the Cass Ceneter Cemetery.
