Looking for connections to: WARREN FORD, born 10/10/1798 in Schoharie, Schoharie County, New York; married in Blairsburg, Hamilton County, Iowa on 2/11/1819 to SOPHIA TOWNE, born 9/8/1799 in Blairstown, Hamilton County, Iowa. Warren was a carpenter. He bought land in Hamlin Township, Eaton County, Michigan on 4/30/1846. The 1860 Census gives Warren, wife and four children and (father) living in Eaton Rapids, Michigan. About 1865 they moved to DeKalb County, Illinois probably to live with one of the children. About 1875 they moved to Iowa. Data by Martha Clements and town records via George L. Hammell of Lansing, Michigan. Warren died 4/8/1877; Sophia died 3/5/1885 at the home of her youngest child, Betsey Altheda Ford (John Sherwood). Both are buried in Blairsburg, Iowa.
