SIBERT

SIBERT, KIMMELL

Looking for info on the SIBERT family who lived in Hamilton County, IA, from about the mid 1850s to sometime after 1870. Their one daughter, Susan was born in about 1862 in Webster City. The parents' names are William and Elizabeth Kimmell Sibert and I have copies of the 1860 and 1870 censuses which lists William as a farmer. On the 1880 census, Elizabeth is listed as a widow with her last child being born in 1874 in Ridott, Stephenson County, IL. We have checked cemetery records for Ridott and the small town nearby and there is no William Sibert listed. I am wondering if he didn't die prior to the last child's birth, while still in Iowa, and the widow and her children moved back to IL to be near other family. Is there any kind soul who could check some cemetery records for Hamilton County, specifically Webster City and nearby for William Sibert? I would sure appreciate any help on this family - they have been a bit of a brick wall for me. Thank you in advance.
