Looking for more info on Herman Macholl. Born 1861-place unknown- d 08/06/1898, Des Moines Hancock County Cemetery, Iowa. Wife was Emma Stromer. They had 4 children. Emma 12/1884, Elizabeth (Lizzie) 01/1886, Martha 06/1892 and Gertrude 11/1898. He passed away just 3 months before his last child was born.
Iowa-Des Moine- 1894-1895 City Directory, Hostler, DMU round house, residence 111 12th in Des Moine, Iowa. Possibly worked for the railroad DMU Roundhouse. Possibly handled horses?
