DONLIN

Has anyone ever heard of a place called Bear Creek, Iowa? I can only find a Bear Creek that runs in Hamilton and Story Counties and empties into the Skunk River, but a history of Dixon County, Nebraska makes mention of Daniel Donlin, who came there from Bear Creek, Iowa in early 1856.
