Mrs. Fred Johnson of Blairsburg and Robert Fisher of Marathon, Iowa, arrived the next day. Besides her husband and children thee are father, mother, two sisters and three brothers and eight grandchildren let to mourn her loss.
Dearest mother thou hast left us
And thy loss we greatly feel
But we long some day to meet thee
Where all grief and pains are healed.
We have some withered flowers
That are softly laid away
That will bring to us the memory
Of our last parting day.
But 'tis not for this we prize them
It is that they restore
The tender grace of a loving face
That gladdens earth no more.
We have parted but not forever
There will be a glorious dawn
We shall meet to part, no never
On that resurrection morn.
