OBITUARY

Margaret Hanson departed to the world beyond March 22, 1913, at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 2 days. She was born in Sweden, December 20, 1830. In June 1854 she was united in marriage to Carl Hanson. They emigrated to America in 1887 and settled in Clay County, S. Dak., where they lived nineteen years. A few years ago they moved to Stanhope, Iowa, and made their home with their daughter. She was a true Christian woman with a strong faith in God. She is mourned by one daughter, an aged husband and three grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. May the Lord comfort them all. The funeral services took place last Tuesday at their residence, Rev. G. H. Dick officiating. The remains were laid at rest in the Saratoga cemetery.
