DEATH OF MRS. TONNING
Mrs. Ingeborg Tynning [sic] was born at Stavanger, Norway, on January 19, 1851, and died very suddenly at the home of a daughter near Williams, on January 10, 1920 after an illness of less than 24 hours, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 21 days. On December 1, 1880 she was united in marriage to Daniel Welland in Stavanger, Norway and together they came to this country May 18th, 1885 and settled near Radcliffe. Mr. Welland died in 1911 and September 17, 1914 she was married to L. O. Tonning and lived in Jewell up to the time of his death and from then on she made her home with her children.
She leaves to mourn her death five daughters and ten grandchildren. One sister and her father reside in Stavanger, Norway. One son died in infancy. The daughters are Mrs. L. j. Overbo of Williams, Mrs. P. L. Peterson of Blairsburg, Mrs. E. E. Telkamp, Morris, Minn., Mrs. E. J. Anderson of Williams, and Mrs. O. A. Laugerman of Williams. She was respected and beloved member Lutheran church in Jewell.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Rose Grove church conducted by Rev. Norstad of Jewell and Rev. Westpal of Williams.
