MRS. ANNA WING

Mrs. Anna Wing was born in Norway, January 12, 1849, and died at the state hospital at Cherokee, Nov. 27th, 1918, at the age of 69 years, ten months and 15 years [sic}. In 1871 she was married to Christ Thompson. To this union four children were born, Mrs. Mary Kringlen, Spencer, Oklahoma; Theodore Wing, Stanhope; and Oscar Wing, Jewell; one child died in infancy.

They came to America in 1875, locating in Roland where Mr. Thompson died in 1880. The widow and children continued to live at Roland until 1885, when she married Halvor Wing and soon after moved to Hamilton county. Mr. Wing died in 1901.

In the spring of 1914 Mrs. Wing suffered a very severe spell of sickness from which she never recovered. She was left weak of body and mind and in June, 1915, she was taken to the Hospital at Cherokee, where she died.
