OBITUARY

Roy Orlen Boe, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Boe, was born at Lake Center July 29, 1918 and died at the Story City hospital on Mother's Day, May 14, at the age of 14 years, 9 months and 14 days. He was confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran church October 2, 1933.

He met his death as the result of an auto accident as Roy and brother Clifford and cousin LuVern Frette, were returning home from Randall where they had attended a Mother's Day program.

When Roy's death came he was willing to go. He had said, he was saved, and at last folded his hands in prayer. His cousin and brother were with him till the last. We wonder why Roy was taken but in Heaven we will understand God did it in love. He lived about two and a half hours after the accident. He was conscious to the very last.

He leaves to mourn his death his father and mother, one sister and two brothers. Also his grandfather and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday, May 17, at St. Paul's Lutheran church, and interment was made in St. Paul's cemetery. Pall bearers were six of his cousins, Arnold, Otis and LuVern Frette, Clarence Jacobson and Ole and Arthur Jacobson.
