Adolph Schaa, 69, longtime Kamrar resident, died at 7:30 a.m. today at his home five miles northeast of Kamrar. While he had been in ill health the past few weeks, his death was sudden this morning, being attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Missionary Alliance church in Blairsburg, preceded by a brief service at 1:15 p.m. at the Foster funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Adolph Schaa, son of Harm and Weimke Schaa, was born May 29, 1891, on a farm near Jewell. He received his education in the Jewell schools and grew to young manhood in that community.

He was united in marriage Feb. 13, 1918, to Dena Greenfield, and since their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Schaa had farmed northeast of Kamrar.

He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters: Seymour H. Schaa of Kamrar, Mrs. Kenneth (Evelyn) Jansen of Webster City, and Mrs. Richard (Laura Mae) Temple [Tempel] of Kamrar and Miss Iona Schaa of Kamrar; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, who died in infancy, one brother, George, who died in 1953, one brother, Ben, who died in 1956 and one sister, Mrs. Peter (Jennie) Trampel, who died in 1959.
