Fifteen years ago she was united in marriage to Ben Challe and they settled down on the Peterson homestead now known as the Ben Challe farm. Here she assisted her husband in making a home and in caring for their son, Laverne, she had come to gladden the home. Two years ago she submitted to an operation in hope that this would relieve her and for a time she was better but the dreaded disease came back and for two years she had been in poor health. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband and son, her aged parents, one sister, Mrs. John Forsberg of Boone, and one brother, Emil Peterson of Stratford.
