DEATH OF MILDRED RUTH PHILLOPS

Mildred Ruth Phillops, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Phillops, was taken seriously ill on Sunday and died on Friday Oct. 10, 1919 at eleven o'clock. Funeral services were held last Monday at 1:30 at the house and 2 o'clock from the Bethel church at Story City. Ruth was laid to rest at the Mamrelund cemetery northeast of Story City.

Ruth was 8 years, 6 months and 15 days old at the time of her death. She was always a happy and cheerful child and will be remembered by her parents, sisters and brothers as well as by her many friends. She leaves to mourn her death, her father, mother, three sisters and two brothers, namely Mrs. J. O. Vangness, Clarence, Jennie, Myrtle and Joseph Phillops.
