ANOTHER PIONEER IS CALLED HENCE

Haakon Ingebritson Died Sunday After Prolonged Sickness

Haaken Ingebritson died at his home 6 miles north of Story City last Sunday morning, after an illness extending over a long period of time. The funeral was held in the North St. Petri church yesterday, Rev. Vangsness officiating, and in spite of the inclement weather a large number of people attended the service. He was interred in Mamrelund cemetery.

Deceased was born in Guldbrandsdalen, Norway, in 1836, and emigrated to this country with his young wife in 1866. They settled in Story City, living here three years and then removed to the farm which they have made their home ever since. Mrs. Ingebritson and seven children survive to mourn the loss of a devout Christian husband and father. Three children have preceded him to the better land. Of the surviving children two daughters are school teachers, being graduates of Luther Normal College, and a son, Henry, is a graduate of Luther College and pastor of a church at Fir, Wash.
