DEATH OF MRS. MARY MUNSON. [sic]

At about nine o'clock Monday morning (May 10) Mrs. Mary Munson [sic] died in Des Moines where she was visiting her daughter. Death came unexpectedly of old age and heart failure, Mrs. Munson passing away quietly while sleeping and without warning, at the age of 79 years.

Mrs. Munson [sic] until about five months ago lived in Ellsworth, when she came to Jewell, making her home with Mrs. Staley. Recently she went to Des Moines to visit her daughter and while there died. The body was taken to Stanhope yesterday and from there was buried in the cemetery south of Stanhope beside the remains of her husband. Five children survive to mourn her death, M. E. Munson, of Elmore, Minn., Lewis Munson, Aitken county, Minn., and Mrs. Lizzie Nelson, of south of Stanhope, Miss Annie Munson, of Des Moines, and Miss Lorenca Munson, of Elmore. Friends in this vicinity extend sincere sympathy in their hour of bereavement. --Jewell Record.
