OLE I. CHARLSON CALLED HENCE

OLD SETTLER DIED SUDDENLY LAST MONDAY NIGHT AT HIS HOME

Ole i. Charlson died at his home in the north part of town Monday night, after an illness from sone sort of intestinal trouble. The funeral services will be held in the Immanuel church this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock.

The deceased was born in Norland, Norway, Nov. 8, 1837, and died in Story City Aug. 7, 1911, having thus attained the age of 73 years and nine months. He came to this country in 1866, settling first in Illinois, but coming to Iowa the following year, settling in Hamilton county, where he lived ever since until moving to Story City some years ago.

He married Aug. 24, 1860 to Anna Serine Knutson (Aabe) and to this union were born eight children, one of whom preceded the father to the better land. Besides the widow, four sons and three daughters survive to mourn to the death of a kind father, namely: Carl Edward of Morse, Canada; Christian John of Minneapolis; Annas Tobias of Heron lake, Minn.; Oscar Selius of Ellsworth; Mrs. G. S. Knudson of Jewell; Mrs. O. M. C. Brandjord of Ellsworth, and Mrs. M. J. Olson of Randall.
