MRS. PETER RASMUSSON PASSED AWAY

Friends here will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Peter Rasmussen, an old resident of this neighborhood for many years, later residing in Des Moines at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elton Wood, where she passed away April 26, 1929.

Ethel Marie Thompson was born in Denmark and was married to John Lund in 1869. They came to America in 1882. To this union six children were born, Carry, Hannah, Mary, Anna, Sena and one son, Martin. Carry and Hannah died in infancy. Mr. Lund died in 1902.

She later married Peter Rasmussen of Randall; he died in 1915. Besides Mrs. Wood she leaves to mourn her death two daughters, Mrs. R. L. Smith of Des Moines and Mrs. C. W. Kemple of Panora, and one son, Martin Lund of Des Moines, two great grandsons, Mrs. Marie Bova, Mable Dows of California, Robert James Dova and Delbert Eaton.
