OBITUARY

Linnie Alvina Anfenson

Linnie Alvina Anfenson was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Anfenson. She was born near Holdfast, Sask., Canada, Aug. 7, 1912. In December that same year she, with her parents, came to Randall, Iowa, to stay with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Larson. Her mother, who was then sick, died April 6, 1913. From that time she made her home with her grandparents until the spring of 1922, when she, with her aunts, moved up to her uncle, Tobias Larson, to make her home.

The 18th of December, 1925, she took sick with the scarlet fever with the effects that she also took sick with Bright's Disease. She suffered very patiently, and prayed to be satisfied with God's will. She received the best of care but to no avail. She was a loving child, full of live, though always concerned about doing what was right. She was a praying child, and has been standing in her baptismal covenant.

After she knew for certain that she could not recover, she was longing to go to be with Jesus, and was relieved from her suffering June 1st, 1926, at the age of 13 years, 9 months, 25 days. Her mother, a sister and a brother have preceded her in death. Her friends who served as pall bearers were Violet Ford, Arline Braland, Clarice Torkelson, Sylvia Charlson, Pearl Quam and Clarice Knutson.

She will be greatly missed by her father and an aged grandmother, aunts and uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.
