MRS. RUTH AMENSEN

Mrs. Ruth Teigland-Amensen was born March 28, 1900, and died Jan. 1st, 1924. On Sept. 4th, 1918, she was united in marriage to Elmer C. Amensen. To this union three children were born. Two daughters, Alice Lorine, 4 years, and Judith Cora, 2 years and one boy, Donald Kenneth, who was born at the Story City Hospital. Ruth died four hours after the baby was born and the baby died the next day.

She leaves to mourn her death, her husband and two little girls, her father, four brothers and five sisters. They are M. M. Teigland and S. M. Teigland of Randall, Martin of Eagle Grove, Lucas of Faribault, Minn., George of Radcliffe, Mrs. John Okland of Jewell, Mrs. P. J. P. Oakland of Rake, Mrs. John Borwick of Radcliffe, Mrs. Sophie Bobb of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Jas. Quam of Elmore, Minn.

The funeral was held from Elim Lutheran Church at Randall Jan. 7th. The church was filled to capacity with her sympathizing friends, and Rev. G. O. Paulsrud preached a very impressive and touching sermon to both old and young. May God bless her memory.
