D.L. (Mick) Rollins, Sr., 64, longtime Webster City resident, died Wednesday evening at the University hospitals in Iowa City, where he had been a patient since Nov. 24. He had been in ill health since last June.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. R.M. Roden officiating and with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery at Eagle Grove.

Donald Leander Rollins, son of Leander Ellsworth and Lillian Mae Wood Rollins, was born Nov. 24, 1910 in Hamilton county. He was reared and educated in Hamilton and Webster counties.

He was married in April, 1930 to Dorothy Kelly, who preceded him in death in 1941. Three daughters were born to this union.

On June 27, 1943, he was married to Geneva G. Gordon, and the couple made their home in Webster City where he owned and operated the Rollins Roofing and Siding Co.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters and three sons: Mrs. William (Bonnie) Greufe of Blairsburg, Mrs. Guy (Beverly) Sylvester, Webster City, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Nemechek, Hayfield, Minn., Mrs. Vona Scott, Webster City, Donald L. Rollins, Jr., Stanhope, Bruce G. Rollins, Webster City and Terry A. Rollins, Webster City; one step-son, Ronald Benson, Hopkins, Minn., 19 grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters, Cleo Rollins, in Oregon, Wayne A. Rollins, Eagle Grove, Larry Rollins, Washington state, Mrs. E.G. (Reva) Champion of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Leo (Vona) Gingery of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, who died in infancy.
