Mrs. Charles (Chic) O'Connor, 63, longtime Webster City resident, died early this morning at the University hospitals in Iowa City where she had been a patient for the past nine weeks. She had been in ill health since January.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Raymond M. Roden officiating and with burial at Graceland cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home until 10 a.m. Monday at which time the casket will be taken to the church.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Maye Louise Price, daughter of John and Hazel Cook Price, was born Sept. 22, 1916 at Epworth, Iowa. She was reared and educated at Iowa Falls.

She was united in marriage April 23, 1938 to Charles O'Connor and the couple made their home in Webster City where they owned and operated the Riverside Market for 19 years. They later lived in Forest City where they owned and operated the Gamble store for six years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in February, 1978, and moved back to Webster City in 1979, residing at 1200 Des Moines St. She was employed at Osweiler's.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Dennis O'Connor, Carlsbad, Calif., Charles O'Connor, Iowa City, and Bridget Frette, Webster City; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, John Price of Mesa, Ariz., and Estus (Bud) Price, Iowa Falls, and her mother, Mrs. Hazel Price of Iowa Falls.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and one brother.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church and the CSP club.
