Tuesday, March 27, 1990Betty (Mrs. Donald) Andrew, 66, of Webster City died Sunday, March 25 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She had been a patient there one day.
Memorial services will be Friday, March 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Sorensen officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Betty Jane Scharff, daughter of Harry and Lillian Griebel Scharff, was born Sept. 17, 1923 at DeWitt. She attended high school in Chicago, Ill.
On Nov. 15, 1946 she married Donald M. Andrew in Davenport. The couple resided in Webster City where she was employed at Morton Frozen Foods and the Golden Age Nursing Home.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Donna Mae (Mrs. John) Larson of Webster City, Bonny Jean (Mrs. Ronald) Nelson of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Lola Ann (Mrs. William) Center of Murphysboro, Ill.; five grandchildren and one sister, Ann Bonaparte of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the VFW and the DAV auxiliaries.
