Ardys B. Park, 78, Webster City, died Sunday, June 18, 2006 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Rev. Ryan Christianson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Ardys Arlene Bailey, daughter of Percy F. and Estelene Pearl Albright Bailey, was born June 8, 1928 five and a half miles south of Webster City in Hamilton County. She attended Poplar Grove Country School and later graduated from Corwith High School Class of 1946. On May 21, 1951 she married Donald Glenn Park at Corwith, Iowa. She was a Northwestern Bell operator for four years. In 1968, she began work at Frigidaire in Webster City, now known as Electrolux, retiring in 1990 after 22 years of service. After retirement, she spent over 15 years splitting her residence between Iowa and Texas. Mr. Park died Dec. 28, 1992.

Ardys is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Janice Park of Webster City, daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Thomas Kurt of Ankeny, Joyce and Tommy Morgan of West Des Moines, Glenda and Robert Timm of Webster City, Karen and Ron Sjullie of North Platte, Neb. She has eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. A former member of the Red Hat Society of Mission, Texas and the Moose Lodge of Webster City.
