Martin A. Crovisier, 46, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday at the Hamilton county hospital. He had been in failing health since November.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. M.V. Chastain officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Martin Alfred Crovisier, son of George and Lillian Crovisier, was born July 19, 1910, at David City, Neb. He was five years old when he came with his parents to Iowa, locating on the Crovisier family farm in Wright county near Woolstock. He received his elementary schooling in the rural schools near Woolstock and was graduated from Lincoln High school in Webster City with the class of 1929.

He was united in marriage Dec. 7, 1938 to Beulah Norman at Fort Dodge. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Crovisier farmed in Wright county until 1946 when they moved into Woolstock where he was employed at the elevator. He served as township assessor and clerk of Woolstock township for several years and was a former AAA committeeman. In 1951, the family moved to Webster City where Mr. Crovisier was employed as a roving inspector at Beam Mfg. Co.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Thomas Delane Crovisier, at home; by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Crovisier of Woolstock; one brother, Richard of Ames; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Vera) O'Connor of Elk River, Minn. and Mrs. George (Iva) Rasmussen of Webster City; several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Crovisier was baptized in the Christian faith and was a member of the Church of Christ.
