Hoovers Mourn Loss of son

Mr. and Mrs. Lon Hoover, 903 Boone St., are mourning the loss of their three-year-old son, Kirk Eugene Hoover, who died early this morning at the Hamilton County Hospital.

He had been in ill health since August, 1968.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. George Eddy officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. The body will lie in state at Foster Funeral home until 10 a.m. Saturday, when it will be taken to the church.

Kirk Eugene Hoover, son of Lon and Laura Evans Hoover, was born Oct. 26, 1965, at Madison, Wis., and moved with his parents to Webster City in October, 1968.

He is survived by his parents; one brother, Kent; by his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hoover, his maternal grandmother Lauretta Evans; a great grandfather, Judson Hoover all of Webster City, and a great grandfather, Herbert Wilcox of Madrid, Iowa.
