Funeral services for Harold H. Stuhmer, 67, longtime Webster City-Williams area resident, will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday at the Funeral home, with the Rev. Clay Noah officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Sturmer died Thursday morning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames.

Harold Henry Stuhmer, son of John and Dora Stroh Stuhmer, was born Feb. 27, 1911, at Williams. He was reared and educated in the Gibson, Ill. community. He returned to Williams and farmed in that area.

On Feb. 14, 1937, he was united in marriage to Erma Hilpipre and for several years the couple farmed in the Williams area. They moved to Webster City in 1943, and Mr. Stuhmer worked as a mechanic and later as a carpenter. He retired in 1963 because of health reasons and has since resided at 544 Richardson Drive.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Betty) Evans, Webster City, and Mrs. Richard (June) Van Langen of Ellsworth; seven grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Laurence Stuhmer, Webster City and Mrs. John (Margaret) Coritz and Mrs. Aaron (Elsie) Heiser, both of Champaign, Ill. and Mrs. Ivis (Edith) Carlson of Flint, Mich.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, both parents and three brothers.

He was a member of the First Baptist church in Webster City.
