Friday, February 4, 2005Maris Naber, 66, of Boone, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Memorial services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Ellsworth with Rev. Dana Williams to officiate. A memorial fund has been established, gifts may be sent to the family. Becker Funeral Home in Jewell has been entrusted with arrangements.
[Maris was the son of Harry & Veryl Burkett Naber who are buried at the Presbyterian Cemetery east of Kamrar, Iowa; he was married to Carol Marie Peterson on August 30, 1958 and they had two children - Debra Sue Naber and Marty G. Naber - they divorced in 1977 and she died December 26, 1998]
