Clifford Dilley, 44, of Stanhope, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005 at the University Hospital at Iowa City. A gathering for family and friends will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 9 a.m. until service time.

Clifford Eugene Dilley, son of Dale and Carolyn Thompson Dilley, was born May 13, 1960 at Fremont, Ca. He graduated from the Bellflower, Ca. high school in 1978. On December 22, 1978 he married Ronda Lee Flickinger at Las Vegas, Nev. He was a truckdriver and mechanic for Barr-Nunn Trucking until 1944. It was in 1994, he became disabled from an auto accident. Ronda died February 18, 2001.

Clifford is survived by sons, Christopher and Ronald Dilley of Stanhope, granddaughter, Shelby Dilley, parents, Dale and Carolyn Dilley of Stanhope, sister, Linda Shubin of Webster City, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Kay Dilley of Webster City, sister-in-law, Elaine Dilley of Williams.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calva and Lawrence Dilley; Evelyn and Williard Thompson; brother, Bruce Dilley, brother-in-law, John Shubin, uncle, Marion Hill.
