Jonathan D. Glynn, 30, of Stanhope, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center at Ames. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Rev. John Flaherty, celebrant. There will be no visitation. There will be a private family interment at a later date. Services were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Jonathan David Glynn, son of William and Sondra Harreld Glynn, was born June 25, 1974 at Boulder, Co. He graduated from Boulder High School. For three years, he served with the U.S. Marines in a transportation company at Okinawa, Australia and at Camp Lejeune, N.C. On August 19, 2002 he married Mary Elaine Muessigmann at Carroll, Ia. He had worked at HyVee but was currently self-employed with numerous jobs.

Jonathan is survived by his wife, Mary, his parents, Bill and Sondra Glynn of Webster City, brother, Thomas Glynn of Longmont, Co.; sister, Janet Woodhouse of Pompano Beach, Fl.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Jeanette Muessigmann, brother-in-law, Matthew Muessigmann, all of Stanhope; step-grandparents, T.E. Barr and Ooris Glynn, both of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials.
