Thelma Riley, 94, of Webster City, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, with Rev. Scott Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Fosters from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.

Thelma I. Klein, daughter of Daniel and Regina Klein was born October 15, 1910 at Crete, Nebraska. She received her education in the Webster City School System. On January 8, 1930 she married Everett Leroy Riley. They farmed near Kamrar for three years, then farmed for 46 years east of Webster City. In 1981, the couple moved to Webster City. Mr. Riley died April 18, 1986. She had been a resident of Southfield since September of 2000.

Mrs. Riley is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Verne Foster and son, Jerry Riley, all of Webster City; son-in-law, Ray Scott of Williams; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Scott; daughter-in-law, Shirley Riley.

She was a member of the Hamilton County Saddle Club and the Senior Citizens.
