Peg Lee, 90, of Webster City, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Crestview Senior Living. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 10 at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center, with Rev. Howard Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at Fosters from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.

Mildred Gladys Lee, daughter of Ray and Gladys Kenney Stafford, was born September 19, 1914 on a farm north of Blairsburg. She received her education at Blairsburg, graduating in 1931. At Drake University, she received a B.A. Degree in Education. She taught at rural schools near Blairsburg and schools at Callender and Gilmore City. In July of 1939, she married Arthur Rex Lee at Missouri. The couple resided at Webster City. She had taught in the Webster City School System at South Building (6th grade) and Riverside (4th grade). Mr. Lee died January 26, 2000. She had resided at Crestview since January of 2003.

Mrs. Lee is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jeanine Lee of Lake Forest, Ca., daughters and sons-in-law, Roma and Dean Johnson of Kona, Hawaii, Janet and Fred Wills of Rogers, Ar., grandchildren, Jeffrey and Christine Lee, Elizabeth and Jennifer Lee, Joel and Ayumi Johnson, Matt and Sarah Johnson, Chris Johnson, Kent Wills, Tiffany and Bill Hartwig, great-grandchildren, Annaliese Lee, Rylan and Macy Johnson, Bradi O'Leary, Chikako and Takahito Johnson and Brayden Rex Hartwig, sister, Miriam Martin of Webster City, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Winifred and Jean Stafford.

She was a member of the First Congregational - U.C.C., the League of Women Voters, National Education Association and Beta Sigma Phi.
