Chad Lynn Beyer, three-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Beyer of Story City, died last evening at 9:30 at the University of Iowa hospitals in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Becker Funeral home chapel with the Rev. Norbert Jolivette officiating and with burial in the Evergreen cemetery at Jewell.

He was born Nov. 29, at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames, the son of Lynn and Susan Miller Beyer.

Surviving are the parents; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Miller of Jewell, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Beyer of Belle Plaine, Mrs. Al Shield of Belle Plaine, Mrs. Anna Lindebak of Bethany Manor, Jewell, and Mrs. Gladys Beyer of Belle Plaine.
