William Darold Kelley, 67, of Stratford, died Sunday, May 9, 2004 at the Covenant Medical Center at Waterloo. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Pastor Kent Kastler officiating. Burial will be in the McGuire Bend Cemetery, northwest of Stratford. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

William Darold Kelley, son of Dale and Dorothea Dally Kelley, was born November 8, 1936 at Webster City. He received his education in the Stratford school system. He had many years of experience trucking including Umsted Trucking, Morton Frozen Foods, Farmland Foods, Highland Trucking, Central Iowa Stockyards, Waste Management and Design, Sho-Dust, Kenny Farr Trucking and Hoover Trucking.

Mr. Kelley is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Steve Miller of Webster City; son, Mike Kelley of Stratford; step-children, Jack McKinney of Waseca, Mn.; Linda McKinney of Portland, Or.; former wife, Kathy Kelley of Duncombe; 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren; brothers, Steve and David Kelley of Stratford; sister, Marilyn Vopalensky of Mountain View, Ar., several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry Kelley in 1976; step-son Walter McKinney.

He was a member of the McGuire Bend Church.
