Floyd R. Ingraham, 84, of Webster City, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center at Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Faith United Methodist Church, with Rev. Brian Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Floyd Raymond Ingraham, son of Frank and Emma Schermacher Ingraham, was born February 1, 1920 at Creston, Iowa. He received his education in the Creston School system. He started farming with his sister, Frances, west of Creston. On December 3, 1944 he married Glenna Mae Nelson at Troy, Ks. The couple farmed north of Creston. In 1952, they moved to the Webster City area and farmed in this area until they moved to Webster City in 1986. Following retirement, he farmed part time, worked at the United Cooperative, Webster City Equipment Company and Ingraham Construction, all in Webster City.

Mr. Ingraham is survived by his wife, Glenna, daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Eldon Arends of Jewell, Colleen and DeWayne Craven of Webster City, son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Connie Ingraham of Webster City; grandchildren, Julie and Andrew Peterson of Jewell; Ken Craven of Woolstock, Brian Craven of Webster City, Brett and Trevor Ingraham of Webster City, sister, Frances Kessler of Creston, aunt, Dorothy Ingraham of Webster City, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Traci Gayle Ingraham in 2000, brother, Harold A. Ingraham.

He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Hamilton County Saddle Club, Webster City Moose Lodge #735 and the Elks Lodge of Creston.
