Shirley Ann Shutt Lourias, 61, Dallas, Texas, a former Webster City resident, died Nov. 14, 2000 at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Services were held at the White Rock Church of Christ in Dallas with burial in the Grove Hill Cemetery. Her son-in-law, Rev. Sean Nunnley officiated. Shirley Ann Shutt was born July 10, 1939 in Austin, Minn. to Rosa Anna Buck and Eli Edward Shutt. She graduated from Austin High School in 1957 and went on to Austin Junior College. She married Gregory Lourias in 1959 in Rochester, Minn. The couple made their home in Austin. For many years, they ran the Cozy Nook Cafe and then moved to Mora, Minn., to run another cafe until it burned down. She and her family lived for a short time on a farm southwest of Webster City and then in Webster City. They moved to Fort Dodge and lived there for several years. The family moved to Dallas in August of 1976. She was an active member of the Eagles there.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Peggy Lourias of Carrollton, Gregory and Lauralee Lourias of Halton City, Texas; four daughters and sons-in-law, Bess and Archie Jackson, Becky Lourias and Bethany Lourias, all of Dallas, Cindy and Sean Nunnley, Fort Davis, Texas; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Marian Halliday, Webster City, and several nieces and nephews.
