Sharon Lea Crosby, 86, passed away peacefully August 29, 2022, in her home in Arlington, TX.

Sharon was born on a farm near Bradgate, Iowa, on February 29, 1936, to Ira Donald McVicker and Margaret Violet (Seaquist) McVicker. Her family moved to Clarion, Iowa where she attended school until graduating in 1954.

Sharon married Robert Neil Crosby at the Methodist Church in Woolstock, Iowa, November 27, 1955. They had 3 children: Robert Neil, Jr., Belinda Sue and Jeffrey Dean.

Sharon attended Fort Dodge and Webster City Community Colleges and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1980, working for 14 years until retiring in 1994.

Sharon and Bob spent their lives in and around the Woolstock-Webster City area. Sharon moved to Arlington, Texas, in 2015, five years after losing her beloved husband of 55 years.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Ira and Margaret McVicker; brother Claude David McVicker,; husband Bob Crosby, Sr., sisters Sandra Nicholl and Margaret Joyce Thomas. She is survived by sister Alberta Hatter; brother Ira Donald McVicker; children Bob Crosby, Jr. and wife Lynn; Sue Henning and husband Gary, and Jeff Crosby and wife Kathleen; grandchildren Lisa Crosby; Brian Crosby; Adam Henning and wife Kim; Jacob Henning and wife Jessica; Laura Birkenhauer and husband Joshua; Matthew Crosby and wife Jenna; Joshua Crosby and Andrew Crosby; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa, on October 15th at 11:00 a.m.
