Tommy Biggs, 73, of Webster City, died on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Southfield Wellness Community, in Webster City. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Cass Center Cemetery (1895 190th Street) in Webster City, IA, with military honors by the American Legion Post 191, followed by a gathering from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the American Legion in Webster City. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.

He was born on May 10, 1949, in Webster City, to Harold and Clara (Thompson) Biggs. After graduating from the Webster City High School in 1967, Tommy entered the Army and served three tours of duty in Vietnam, 25 months in active combat. During his service he earned four Purple Hearts, one Silver Star, one Bronze Star, Combat Air Assault Medal, and the Gallantry Cross.

In 1972, Tommy married Kelly Lovelace, and to this union Angela and Brandon were born, the couple later divorced. He worked at Dahl Heating and Air Conditioning and Paul Clouse Heating and Air Conditioning as an installer, and as a sheet metal bender and installer. Tommy enjoyed golf, Nascar, NFL football, fishing and playing poker with family.

Tommy’s family includes his daughter Angela Miller of St. Cloud, MN; brother Gary (Lana) Biggs, of Webster City; sister Penny Rodgers of Raymond, WA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Brandon and sister Millie.
