Patricia Dee Peterson, 86, of Jewell passed away April 21, 2022 at her home near Jewell. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 27, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M. at Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Patricia was born on February 18, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK to Arthur and Leona (Perrigo) Thomason, where she joined her brother, Donald. She married Robert Peterson on June 13, 1954. He passed away on March 7, 2020. Patricia worked as a nurse at the Stratford and Jewell nursing homes before working at Mary Greeley. Her family, especially her grandchildren were very important to her and her flowers and gardening was her hobby.

Patricia is survived by her two sons, Travis (Judy) Peterson of Jewell and Rodney Peterson of Fort Dodge; two daughters, Robin (Peder) Sandager of Corpus Christi, TX and Kathy (Dennis) Yoakam of Humboldt; 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Paul Baldus.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s research or St. Croix Hospice.
