Buenetta M. Schroder, 89, Blairsburg, died Sept. 12, 2003 at Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Williams with burial in the Williams Cemetery. The family received friends from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Surls Funeral Home in Williams is in charge of arrangements.

Buenetta M. Millsap was born August 19, 1913 in Williams, the daughter of Lee and Anna Lister Millsap. She graduated from Williams High School in 1932. She was married to Leo Schroder on Nov. 24, 1934. Mrs. Schroder was a homemaker.

Survivors are her three sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Mary Schroder of Ankeny, Sherman and Sally Schroder of Cedar Rapids, and Alan L. Schroder of Blairsburg; and daughter and son-in-law, Janis Mae and Thomas Hicks of Hampton; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Groves of Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter Lois; a brother David, and two sisters Dolores and Kathryn Barry.
