Frederick H. Bernard, 92, Webster City, died Saturday, July 26, 2003 at his home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Rev. Jack Flaherty officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. A scripture service will be held at 7 p.m.

Frederick Henry Bernard, son of Louis G. and Louise Krieger Bernard, was born Oct. 31, 1910 on the family farm north of Webster City. On Aug. 23, 1941 he married Mary Louise Baudot at Webster City. The couple resided and continued farming north of Webster City.

Mr. Bernard is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters and sons-in-law, Marina and James Naden, Paulette and Michael Treu; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Jennifer Bernard; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Webster City.
