Clifford Lobaugh, 86, St. Joseph, Mo., [guessing this is a TYPO and should be Michigan] died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at the Caratel Village at St. Joseph, Mich. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. John Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday.

Clifford Maurice Lobaugh, son of Marlie and Geneva Sylvester Lobaugh, was born May 18, 1917 at Nevada. He was a graduate of Nevada Senior High School and attended Cornell College in Grinnell. On April 16, 1938 he married Garnette Goldeen Middleton in Missouri. The couple farmed near Nevada and southeast of Blairsburg. They retired in 1969. Mrs. Lobaugh died Sept. 8, 1999. He moved to Michigan in November of 2001.

Mr. Lobaugh is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Diane Lobaugh of Baroda, Mich., and grandchildren, Molly, Christopher, Timothy and Caroline Lobaugh.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational at Blairsburg. Mr. Lobaugh enjoyed fishing, walking and spending time with his family.
