Mary Frances Warneke, 78, Lake Ozark, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, Mo. She was cremated with interment at a later date in Iowa. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles, Mo.

She was born March 3, 1924 in Kamrar, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Fern Meyer Daniels. She was united in marriage on April 15, 1942 in Tampa, Fla. to Charles E. Warneke. Mrs. Warneke retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was Postmaster of the Lake Ozark Post Office for 18 years prior to retiring in 1986.

She is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; one son, Ricky Warneke of Maine; one daughter, Sandy Mulcahy of Fenton, Mo., one brother, Jack Daniels of Des Moines; one sister, Shirlee Daniels of Long Beach, Calif., three grandchildren, Melissa, Andrea and Katie Mulcahy, and many other relatives and friends.
