Lucille Miller, 86, Webster City, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003 at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Faith United Methodist Church at Webster City with Rev. Brian Carter officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Dows. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home.

Lucille Mae Rollene, daughter of Rudolph and Beulah Steiff Rollene, was born March 21, 1916 on a farm north of Dows. She attended rural schools and graduated from Dows High School in 1934. On Feb. 20, 1944, she married Bruce Miller at the Morgan Methodist Parsonage, east of Dows. The couple farmed at various locations in the Dows-Goldfield area. They moved to Webster City in 1972, where she worked at Frigidaire (Electrolux) for 15 years. She retired in 1985 and enjoyed traveling on bus trips with her sister.

Mrs. Miller is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Patricia Miller of Raeford, NC., Michael and Donna Miller of Webster City; grandchildren, Steven, Becky and Diana Miller; sisters and brother-in-law, Fern Gorder of Dows, Dorothy and Robert Dow of Oskaloosa; sisters-in-law, Patricia Rollene of Dows; Ruth Rollene of Idaho Falls, Id.; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Milo, Dale and Verl Rollene; brothers-in-law Raymond Gorder and Glen Miller; sister-in-law, Phyllis Rollene.

She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, a retired member of the United Auto Workers Local #442, and a member of the Webster City Senior Citizens Club.
