Maynard McCollough, 73, former Woolstock resident, died Dec. 27, 2002 at the Iowa Veteran's Home, Marshaltown. Graveside services were held at the Woolstock Cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 28. Foster Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by daughters Christina and husband Robert Weston of Missouri and Darlene Klinger of Webster City; sons William and wife Judy of Indianola and Paul D. McCollough of Ottumwa. Maynard was preceded in death by his wife Hazel in 1989. For many years he was a masonry contractor in Eagle Grove, Woolstock and Webster City area, working with his brothers Lyle and Marvin.

[Maynard was born in Webster City, Iowa; his parents were Marion & Effie Lacy McCollough, who are buried in Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City; he was married in 1944 to Hazel Wilcox; according to his headstone he was born in 1921 so he was not 73 when he passed away]
