Glen Halliday, 78, St. Cloud, Minn., died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 at the Veteran's Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Kem officiating. Burial will be in the Gowrie Cemetery at Gowrie. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Peterson Post #431 of Gowrie.

Glen Halliday, son of Edward and Synva Berryhill Halliday, was born Dec. 18, 1923 at Webster City. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps in the European Theatre of Action. He had worked in janitorial/environmental services in numerous communities in Minnesota.

Mr. Halliday is survived by a brother, Earl Halliday of Helena, Mont., and several nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Carroll.
