Nancy Lorraine Halupnik, 50, Carlisle, formerly of Webster City, died March 15, 1995. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Burial will follow at Buckingham Cemetery in Traer. Visitation is from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle.

Nancy Lorraine Untiet, daughter of Merlin Otto and Lorraine (Zenner) Untiet, was born July 27, 1944 at Fort Bragg, N.C. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1962 and was also a graduate of Iowa Central Community College and the University of Northern Iowa.

On June 5, 1966 she married Bennie Joe Halupnik at Webster City. She taught at Cedar Falls until her children were born. She returned as a substitute when her children were grown. She taught in Frostproof, Fla. and several Iowa towns, including Webster City, Slater, Garner, Ottumwa and Carlisle. She also taught religion classes at Hancock County Home in Garner where she was voted Volunteer of the Year in 1983.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Dirk of Waterloo, Mark of West Des Moines and James of Carlisle; grandson, Jackson; her parents of Winona, Minn.; sisters, Karen Rose of Chippewa Falls, Wis., Janet Ewing and Linda Withers, both of Winona, Minn.; and brother, Larry Untiet of Spencer.

She was an active member in her church, teaching Vacation Bible School, Sunday School and Confirmation classes and held many offices in the Women of the Church group and circles. She was also a member of P.E.O., T.T.T., B.E.O. and Federated Women's Club.
