Dale L. Keller, 68, of Webster City, died Friday, August 5, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Chapel, with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #191. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday.

Dale Lee Keller, son of Louis and Evelyn Green Keller, was born February 3, 1937 at Estherville. In 1942 the family moved to Webster City and he received his education in the Webster City school system. During the Korean War, he served with the U.S. Marines-Infantry at Camp Pendleton, CA. On December 26, 1955 he married Patricia Ann Hassinger at Yuma, AZ. The couple resided at Compton, Downey and Huntington Beach, all in California. While in California, he worked for the Langendorf Bread Company.

In 1971 the family moved to Webster City. He worked for the Colonial Baking Company as route salesman and supervisor. He retired Jan. 1, 1997. Patty Keller died Jan. 19, 2000. He continued to reside at Webster City.

Dale is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Pam Brockman of Clarion; Dale LeAnn and Dale "Stretch" Stuhr of Webster City; Teri Schorzmann of Woolstock; grandchildren, Cory and Michele Stuhr; Chris Stuhr; Angela Brockman; Tera and Amanda Schorzmann; great-grandchildren, Joslynn Timmerman; Janessa Morris; Jakayli Traeger and Jamin Stuhr; special companion, Sharon Conder of Ottumwa; brother, William Keller of Watsonville, CA; sisters, Shirley Price of Webster City; Darlene Beightol of Rockford, MN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edwin and Robert Keller; sisters, Dorothy Smith, Rose Marie Reetz and Mary Lou Hilpipre.

He was a member of Teamsters Local #147, an avid golf player and longtime member at Briggs Woods Golf Course. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
